We went to a concert in the park tonight. Our local favorite acapella pirate singers were having a fan appreciation party. We had a great time. It was unusually cool for August. Another group opened for them--a group of girl singers. They were enjoyable, but the Corsairs are incredible. They sang a lot of our favorite songs, including "Sailor's Prayer" which was the song we played at W's funeral.

your blog and your son's gravestone
ann...i've been reading your journal, too, you are going thru much the same process as i am....i especially understand the bizarreness of feeling 'okay' and then changing to 'horrible' within minutes....and feeling you are 'turning a corner' only to feel worse soon after....

your son's gravestone is beautiful...the urn with jesse's ashes is now on my living room mantle, it is good to have a physical marker of what remains of your child on the earthly realm

hang in...
love
