Rockin' the Hibachi

Today is our 21st wedding anniversary. We went out tonight to celebrate my birthday, however, because A is too busy to celebrate next weekend. We had W's girlfriend and her family with us. We still enjoy doing things together even though W is gone. We went Japanese steakhouse and sushi bar. Fun was had by all. they gave me a beautiful angel statue that they had bought for me after W died. I just love it because we can talk about W all we want and everyone is glad to talk about him and doesn't think we are weird. They are like family!

I am finally feeling better and more ambitious. I am beginning tonight to put together W's poems into a book for publishing. I am going to email some of the poetry to his girlfriend so that she can illustrate some of it. She draws beautifully. I am so excited about this! I am dreaming that at some point I can get an ISBN number and give a copy to local libraries.

on 21 years together. I think it is neat that W's girlfriend and her family are close to you and your family.

you are in my thoughts often and I enjoy reading your posts. Will you be posting any of W's poetry or making it available as a book?

Re: congrats

Yes, I think it would be fun to have the poetry online as well. I haven't decided how to do it yet.

Re: congrats
We could just set it up as a livejournal, without comments. I'd be happy to write the intro stuff and stuff. This would be essentially free, and would be a good resource. We could use HTML cues to make a table of contents to the individual posts, and make each poem a post.

Just a thought, on the easiest way to do it.

Happy Anniversary!

It is really neat that you all are so close to L's family. They are such neat people, and she is such a great kid.
