I spent a lot of time waiting this Christmas. Waiting in line at various stores. Waiting at Christmas brunch for the excruciatingly slow restaurant service. Waiting to get my music on my new Ipod like clone. Dontcha hate it when your new toy does not work out of the box. But I did achieve one goal. I did not want to be sad and depressed this year. Even though it is the third bad Christmas in a row, with this being the worst. We had so many friends and family members who have been extra kind this year. I managed to hold W in my heart at our Christmas Eve service without my heart breaking again.
A wonderful friend who is a publisher gave me some copies of W's poetry book that I can give to friends and family.

I am relieved the holiday is over. The waiting has finished.

I think you did great this holiday season. It's been a very difficult set of things this last few years, and not all difficult things are past. But you've hung in there, and that's a very good thing.

I am glad there are so many blessings to count, even if you did get poor service at the tripod place.

God bless you and your family. I am sure this had to be the most trying holiday experience you've ever had.

And BTW, ipod clone? Me interested, even though it sounds like it might have sucked. :)

Actually, I like the actual device--it's called an iriver, and it has 20 GB of memory for a much better price than an ipod. It also plays WMA files, but only certain bit rate WMA files, so I am having to convert all my files on my computer. Once that is done, everything will be great.
